Today Saturday August 8, 2011 saw a few more announcements at the Anahiem Convention Center. These announcements are related to films and into the parks. The first announcement made at the 25 Years of Creativity at Pixar Session. The two announcements are two new films by Pixar*Disney will be made. The first film is about Dinosaurs, the plot is if no asteroid hit the Earth and the Dinosaurs continued to live. The second film is about the human mind which will be released in 2014. The Human Mind, unnamed, will try to answer human mind questions such as why does music get stuck in your head. It’s a Small World After all, its a small, small world. Walt Disney Pictures have released the official logo for Tim Burtons, “Frankenwennie.” (Image Below)

More announcements coming from the prequel of Monsters Inc, Monsters University, came out. The plot is that both Mike and Sully are both accepted to Monsters University and both are training to become a scarer which is a high class opportunity such as a astronaut. Also in this session concept art of the younger Mike and Sully were displayed. Does this mean that the young Mike and Sully will appear in the film as a flashback? I hope so. Also related to Pixar is that a short will appear with the Muppet’s Film, Buzz Lightyear will be left at a fast food restaurant, which was swapped with a kids meals Buzz. Such as Toy Story 2.

The last announcement is that a new Mickey and Walt statue will appear in Disney’s California Adventure. The statue will appear on Beuna Vista Street when it opens in 2012. The statue will be of young Walt Disney stepping of a train in California from Kansas City. (Image Below)
